I did not click on 【美语世界】 until a friend told me that it's for English, as I was mistaken "美语" as beautiful language. I decided to stay away from any claimed "beautiful language" - not direct, not specific languages, as those precious words have been reserved for the self-amusement of Ivory Tower's knights. I've been preaching "Plain English" – simple, small words, down-to-the-earth-kind for the ordinary people. For example, I have advocated the hybrid language of your native tongue and acquired the second language. Of course, the hybrid language includes 美式英语 and 英式英语. Can you tell the difference between 美式英语 and 英式英语? Here, in 文学城, aren't we practice 美式英语 or 英式英语, or the mixture of both?
I can not help but notice that the majority of the audience in 【美语世界】are fluently speaking《新概念英语》（英語：New Concept English）
More importantly, "Longman's New Concept English by L. G. Alexander is a popular English language textbook teaching the British rules of English. The course was first published on October 30, 1967.

Going back to my original inquiry, what's about【美语世界】? Is it 美式英语 and 英式英语? Does 【美语世界】teach the British rules of English or American rules of English? If 【美语世界】teaches the British rules of English and American rules of English both, don't you think it should be called 【英语世界】? 【英语世界】will attract someone like me in the beginning. What is your thought?
