网球教练说他over the hill

今天跟网球教练聊天，我问他除了教人打球是否还play for fun。他说，打的不多了，偶尔和几个高中的在league打球打得好的孩子打打。他说他虽然技术好，当年什么全国排名前20，但已经over the hill了，体力不行，跟打得好的孩子打还是有点吃力。

Over the hill:

Old and past one's prime. 过了最佳状态、时期。Usually, as soon you turn 40, you're over the hill.
