先感谢指正!

Last night some friends of mine came over for dinner. One of them brought me tea leaves and a pack of fish from her friend.  Those fish, according to my friend, were caught a few days ago,  came frozen and packaged in a zip-lock bag,  which are commonly seen in fish market, but at this moment I just could not get the name of them out of my mouth.

Since the city where I live is adjacent to the Atlantic ocean, and here and there in the surrounding areas are sprinkled with innumerable rivers and lakes, so if you are a fishing goer and have a boat you would have no trouble finding a good place to grab a bite.

On this dark and cloudy but not currently raining Sunday morning,  maybe it  is a good idea  for those fishing lovers  to drop anchors over rivers and lakes to grab bites.  But for me, a notorious  homebody,  except for running and shopping for groceries, more likely you can find me home on weekends reading, watching movies  and 非诚勿扰】. It has been a year since this program  drew  my attention. The reason I have been interested is that  the joy, the hosting features and the language talents the host MengFei has brought to his audience.  I have been his fan ever since that day just by an inadvertently click on a link in WXC.

So since some friends came over for dinner last night, I got no time to enjoy that program until this morning.  The first male guest to Mengfei,   said that  he was 35 years old and  he appeared about  7 or 8 years younger than his age,  and his mental age was  even younger. The reason why, according to his explanation,   was that he  had stayed overseas for 6 years before he came back to China. He said that   since he had been estranged from the communication with  people  in China  after  he went abroad while China  which is  a country always  developing in a rapid pace, so he had a hard time catching up. And then he continued  that people in  the similar situation as his were called  quick frozen fish by people in China. I was like  “ha-ha interesting! ”I never heard of this saying before.

I think he may be right on that make -up name for those sea turtles, which is such a vivid description.  In fact, in my daily life,  once in a while I  hear  people  talking about their experience of visiting  their families in China,  that they were told how young they look like,  or how much younger they  look  than people their age who live in China.  So how should I call myself? 梦里清楚身是客,醒来方知原是鱼? not sure.

更正一下frozen 应该是容词性质的过去分词。came大概与feel,find类似。 -sportwoman- 给 sportwoman 发送悄悄话 sportwoman 的博客首页 (0 bytes) () 09/30/2012 postreply 17:17:00
