I googled and found a book named The Shadow of the Sun

how to put it in Chinese? 阳光下的阴影？ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shadow_of_the_Sun 

The other day seeing many messages there I was confused. In order to understand it in my own way, I tried to translate the first paragraph of that part posted by NewVoice into Chinese, but I failed.
