中国疾病预防控制中心(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)慢病中心常务副主任王临虹说，中国正在努力应对人口城市化和老龄化问题，并且深受慢性病困扰。她说，中央政府部门采取的进一步措施应包括普及常识、增加医生培训、方便民众定期检查等。
Wang Linghong, executive deputy director of Chronic Disease Center, Chinese Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said that China is struggling to cope with urbanization and aging problem of its population which are bothered by chronic diseases. She said, further steps that the central government departments will take should include popularizing common senses, increasing training for doctors, and facilitating periodic health exams for the public.
