I spent most of my afternoon listening to the audio clips of the movie – an afternoon well spent. The movie is set in Alabama, where I had lived for three years. A major scene in the movie was shot in the city where I am now living. I also read the book which the movie was adapted from, and I feel that the movie is much better than the book.
I don’t know why Forrest kept running. I know that he ran for his life the first time, and I guess that once he started, he could not stop. I think “running” is symbolic, and could symbolize many things.
