根据WM Learner's Dictoinary，好象用在比较非正式的场合。

cocky Listen to audio/ˈkɑ:ki/ adjective

cock·i·er; cock·i·est

 
[also more cocky; most cocky] informal : having or showing confidence in a way that is annoying to other people
