to "fix the front door" versus "fix the front window". 可如果强调　＂fix the front door" versus "fix the back door", 重音就应在　＂front", 不在　＂door" 了．

I guess the real question would be: if there is not context, just say "front door" by itself without 上下文, then, how to to say it? I just asked a native speaker, he said when he says ＂front door", he emphyasize neither word, the same 轻重．
