Note that I used Google Language Tool (G.L.T.) to help my translation.

I made an incorrect change from "in a little mockery" (G. L. T.) to "in a little mockery way". Mockery is a noun not an adjective.

Learned a new word: parlance

par·lance (pärlns)

1. A particular manner of speaking; idiom: legal parlance.

2. Speech, especially a conversation or parley.
