I arrived at the track a little late today because my daughter woke up right before I was leaving. It was a good run, but when I sat down in the car after walking one lapse, I felt a sharp pain in the area of my c-section scar. I checked and there was no bleeding around the scar. I got out the car, then the pain disappeared; I went back and sat down, the pain came back. I was scared and called my hu*****and.
“Do you want me to go and pick you up? Do you think you need to go the hospital?”
“Let me try one more time. I will move the seat, maybe it’s the angle of how I sit in the car”.
I moved the driver’s seat to the back a little bit and slowly sat down there. Three’s a charm. I drove home with my hu*****and on the speaker phone.
According to Dr. Google, it seems it’s quite common for women runners to feel this kind of pain after a c-section. After all, it hasn’t been two years since I had the second c-section. To be on the safe side, I need to see a doctor before the race on Oct. 21st. I already know what Dr. Beautifulwind will say, haha.
Check out my running route, circles and circles...
