请高人指点—为什么美国政治人物和天朝政治人物说话风格相差很大？

刚读了小叶子下面出来的McCain写的文。发现美国政治人物们很多出口锦绣，用词精雅。我觉得McCain这篇就很有文学素养和文字功底。

比如JFK说过：
“When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. 

When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and the diversity of his existence. 

When power corrupts, poetry cleanses. ”

John Adams的名言：“I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy.”

为什么天朝历代太祖和今上喜欢说一些更通俗的大白话呢？太祖语录：“敌人一天天烂下去，我们一天天好起来”
变法太宗警句：“不管黑猫白猫，捉到老鼠就是好猫。”(我同意这句有很多政治智慧）

今上金口玉言：“撸起袖子加油干”原因是因为天朝领袖们要照顾听众们的理解能力吗？可是领袖也可以引导和提高人民吧。

说实话，我最不理解的一点是－－现在天朝大街都是“我就是粗鄙我怕谁”的劲头。读读唐宋甚至民国历史，那时候还是追求“修身”的。等高人来指点。
