Feelings are based on physiological changes you detect when close to , or engaging in intimacy with someone you feel attracted to.
These bodily changes may be increased heart rate, sweating , extreme feelings of ecstasy ( feeling extremely happy ) ; all these changes although including emotions are often loosely refered to as chemistry.
Love on the other hand involves more of the logical part of the brain. The above mentioned bodily changes most likely occur with love during closeness or intimacy as well. However the distinction between feelings and love is that feelings just continue to be feelings that may be relied upon , but wholly for the sensations of each other's body. Love rather goes a whole lot deeper in the logical and intellect parts of the mind. The other person is also attractive for personality traits , life habits ,morals , kindness toward the other and people in general. Shared likes such as whether interests or hobbies are a good fit for each other. Also how each person treats the other in dating situations such as politeness , conversationalist, attention given to the other. There are many complex issues considered when one has fallen in love. A reasonably long dating period also gives a stronger answer as to whether it's enduring love . Future plans usually tend to gain momentum in a love situation. In conclusion feelings remain visceral and strictly emotional with no depth or need to believe you can't live without the other !!
