今天怀旧

早晨四点起来送棒槌去机场，回来送元元上学，回家的路上接到亚亚电话说公车又满员了，接着送了亚亚去学校。回到家，空荡荡的。

我登录了一个旧邮箱，里面有每一封我和棒槌住在一起前的通信，粗略一看，每天五六封的样子，很少有哪天没有，即使是一起过周末，他也总有一两个热情洋溢的小结。

随便点了一个，是他从冰球馆发的，那个时候打球的是他老二，木木。

I was so thrilled to hear the warmth and enthusiasm in your voice today and to "feel" your exuberance over the move over and live together. I have been living this dream for the past two weeks which has brought energy and happiness to my long days and short nights. I am so happy to see you fully engaged!!!

Our next few months together will be the best ever as we craft the future for the six of us. We should thank our makers for offering us the chance to build a fresh new life this spring - how many others have the love, strength and courage to attempt this labor of love?

Soon, our "nest will be complete" and we can focus on what is most important - the younger inhabitants of the nest.  Resuming the nurturing for our 4 kids that turn young boys into strong, healthy, happy, loving, confident and self-sufficient men. 

It is this task we are so well suited. This is why we were put together as one. We are a perfect pair to combine our love and resolve - I feel so blessed to have each other at our respective sides. 

The past is gone, it is behind us in the  rear view mirror. It is now time to roll up our sleeves for our labors of love and begin Chapter 8 with vigor. 

You are the most lovely partner a man could ever desire - and I am blessed to have you as my soul mate. I love you and want you so much. 

那时候离我们初相遇有一年多，过了几个月我就带着孩子搬过去了，也很快就明白了虽然我们以为我们有足够的 love, strength and courage，但是 to attempt this labor of love，实现 turn 4 young boys into strong, healthy, happy, loving, confident and self-sufficient men的难度是超乎想像的，每个孩子起点不同，何况，我们本身又各有缺点。

五年多激烈的碰撞，艰苦的努力，观察，思考，学习。

今天重读这封邮件，每一个字都让我感慨万千。今天的我们，终于差不多成了五年前我们以为的样子。每一个孩子也茁壮成长，各有成绩。一起走过的所有的风风雨雨，最值得珍惜。
