房子的事情大多是老公在管。每两周general contractor, architect 还有我们在工地开个会，我基本没去过，都是老公去。今天老公出差，我去了，发现一个洗手间光贴贴砖纯工钱就要一万块，而且洗手间又不大，160平方尺的。我就问那个包工头，这个一万块工钱怎么算出来的，大概是几个人做多久，人家竟然说我这个问题非常odd,说从来没人这么问过，还要像他老板汇报先才能答我。我说bidding process是你负责的，难道你收到报价不问的吗？ 气死我了，真是用别人的钱不心疼。后来我给一个老中电话，人家报价才一半。我和包工头说我要换人，包工头说换人的话他们不保证质量，因为他们是监工，只有用他们的人他们才保证质量。我问一下，这样正常吗？

今年忙得要死，还要受这种气，怒了。今天还发现一个楼梯做错了，明明一个扶手从二楼到一楼的，结果做楼梯的自作主张加了一半的墙没有了扶手，architect也气坏了。像这种低级错误还有好几次。感觉美国建筑行业太不透明了。
