前一阵子读到新加坡强制双语教育。他们跟美国好像是相反，新加坡的政府替人民思考了，发展得也挺好

Take bilingual-education policy, which has generally grown more stringent over the decades. 
It’s not an option, as it is in the United States. It’s compulsory; you have to learn a language associated with your ethnic group.
