was entering China, then he was blind folded and sent to a jail in the East of China. He was interrogated and jailed for 8 months without any trials(of course). The Chinese police wanted him to provide a list of his customers and he did, although it violated HK's laws to do so. The list showed that some higher ranked officials in Chinese gov. had ordered the censored books, but the Chinese police didn't trust the list. So he was released back in HK, because the Chinese police wanted the original list in his computer( don't know why the police couldn't get it on their own?).
Later, the book store owner left HK to settle in Taiwan, because he thought HK is no longer a safe place to live for him. He appeared on a TV program in Taiwan to talk about his experiences.
That's how i knew the story, maybe it's oversimplified because there were a lots of details.
