I have a brown leather jacket with the same style,

and i'm older than you. :)) I like to wear it with a flowy skirt or dress to balance the "toughness" look of the leather jacket. 

If you have wider shoulders, the sweater in the 2nd pic may not be a good pick. The black leather jacket can easily go with pretty much everything.
