What's really impressed me about Russian people

is the deep pride and patriotism. 

I hired an English teacher as my tour guide right on street in Moscow, because i wanted to know what regular russian's daily life is like, what they care about, etc... She spend a long day and night with my family, and took us to all her favorite places. At the end of the day, she was hesitated and embarrassed to take the money i handed to her, and said that she'd do it for free.  Of course i insisted. It's the best money i spent in Russia.

Everyone i talked to, older or young, told me that they would love to visit America and travel around world, but no one wanted immigrate to richer countries. Those immigrated are most likely Jewish, at least i haven't see any nonjewish Russians immigrated to US except the really old ones who escaped from Bolshevic and after WW2(for economic opportunities).
