RE:Life

I have my parents here.  There is so much work for me, since they don’t speak English. 

I also have a sister.  She sponsored my parents here.  My parents don’t tell her anything I do for them, since my sister believes then my parents should go back to China.

My sister feels like she had to do lots of paperwork to get my parents here.  So she is resentful that I don’t do anything.

I am actually stressed out.  I also have a child, while my sister does not have a child.

I actually would be willing to just suck it out.  However, my parents really hurt me sometimes by saying that my sister is so much more successful in her career and makes lots of money.

I don’t know about any of you reading this, but what I feel is:

If you can focus on your job without having to worry about anything else, such as a child or your parents, it is so much easier for you to focus and be successful.

But if you are pulled into many directions and lots of annoying little things, it is hard to focus.  After all, you only have so much energy.

(sigh).  I know here is no ideal solution.  Life is hard.
