Unless you are married, why don't you date?

I am not happy about having to go to all these dates.  I would be happy dating someone I like.  But having to meet all those new people is not fun, for the most part.  If you see the guy's picture and like the picture but then realize the person in front of you is not what the picture shows, it is very disappointing.  But you still have to be polite and then end the date.  By then you have spent two weeks emailing back and forth and at least one phone call, you realize it is more sunk cost. 

Anyway, if this makes you feel better, I am happy :)
