In old time, My family (started from my great grandfather) used to own a silk company. Making Chinese traditional wedding gowns for the ladies in Guangzhou was one of their businesses. My father told me that they used to have a very good business for traditional gowns. Because in old time, the daughter in laws in the old fashion families need to worn those type of grow on their parents in law's birthday.
