Sounds like rajah(or raja) can be an Indian term for a monarch, or princely ruler of the Kshatriya varna.(from wiki). (this is what Gat*****y meant) At the same time, rajah is the name of Princess Jasmine's pet tiger in Aladdin. Nick considers Gat*****y's words so ridiculous that the only image he can conjure up is a turbaned character(Rajah as in the meaning of Indian Prince), chasing a tiger (probably because of the reference to Aladdin), while at the same time leaking sawdust from every pore. (I don't know why leaking sawdust).
