I am very interested in the topic on genetic testing. Genetic testing is certainly beneficial for people who have a family history of breast cancer or ovarian cancer. Because once they are detected to carry the gene, they can choose to go through the surgical procedures to prevent the cancer from occurring. But how about other genetic diseases? For example, there is no preventive approach to treat Huntington disease once the gene is detected and the diagnosis of Huntington disease would be a death sentence. so do we really want to be tested for Huntington at an early age?

Just a thought. Thanks again for sharing.
