Since the start of reform and opening, China's economy has been developing rapidly. Today, I would like to introduce to you 3 major Chinese cities: Beijing, Shanghai, snd Guangzhou.
2008年奥运会就是在北京举行的，世界各国的的元首也齐聚北京，参加开幕式。美国游泳健将迈克菲利普斯也在这：水立方完成了他的梦想，夺得了8块金牌。
The 2008 Olympic Games was held in Beijing. Many heads of states around the world gathered in there to attend the opening ceremony. The American swimmer Michael Phillips was also there: The Water Cube helped to realize his dream of winning 8 gold medals.
上海作为中国的金融中心，在今年5月至10月底顺利的举办了世博会。这一盛会也吸引了世界各地的旅游爱好者来到上海，就连美国国务卿和加州州长阿诺斯瓦辛格也来此地一游。
Shanghai as China's financial center, has held the Expo from May to October this year. This event attracted enthusiastic tourists from all over the world to Shanghai. Even the U.S. Secretary of State was there for a visit, so was the Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.
广州也将在11月底举办亚运会。
Guangzhou will host the Asian Games at the end of November.
