Very good!
I guess that this essay was written by a kid.

Just a general comment:
1. very good grammar and vocabulary usage
2. transition is good and smooth
3. however, the structure of the essay can be improved:
-- need a good openning to attract readers's interest and lead into the main body
-- convey the messages clearly, vividly, orderly
-- enhance the conclusion and make it strong and memorable.

but overal, great job for your son or daugher.
