词典七十古来稀

Seventy years seem a great limit for a lifespan of a person as well as a system like the Soviet. I just bought a used W** Synonym Dictionary, surprised to find out that it has been reprinted for seventy years without any change. Different ones by the others have not surpass this book, except one arranged in theme, which I could not locate at a branch library due, more than likely being stolen.
Now by this old tree, a tender bamboo shoot is breaking out the soil as I have noticed. Once it grows up, no matter its size, it will not only become an inseparable complementary part of the old one, but may also take the role of competitor.
