I coundn't refrain from bursting into gales of laughter, realizing that I never knew a mid-aged Hong Kong man could have such a pure and childish mind, I was not that type of person who lacked of self-disdain, but I did disdain myself for being inappropriately fond of looking for fun stuff from drama movie.

没看过新电影《月满轩尼诗》,但根据媒体报道， 是部浪漫爱情喜剧，故在英语里应归为drama movie 一类。 原文里的文艺片应该是指上面提到的那类影片。
