Oh - my - God!!!

As a big fan of Friends, I watched it probably over 3 times, but still my takeaways from this post are plenty. To name a few:

Scrunchy

burns me up

gangin' up on

gentle cycle (LOL!!!)

cocktails in Appalachia (Eww…Yuck!)

Lilac, you are a queen of idioms and slangs! I need learn from you. My writings tend to be bookish. But what can you expect from a guy at college who tried to beat out his brain out to recite the First Snow by Longfellow -- while some MM here was reading 查泰莱夫人的情人? Talking about slow bloomer. (That’s another sad story. Sigh…)

I have an observation:

Joey: You're a lucky man. You know what I miss the most about her? That cute nibbly noise when she eats. Like a happy little squirrel, or a weasel.

I kind of believe Joey does a little maneuver here – He expects that Angela’s nibbly noise will turn Bob away. To continue the plot, he orders another plate of chicken wings for her…

You can start an American daily English program by teaching Friends in China! Wait a sec! I am volunteering others again? Oh – My – God! What’s wrong with me?

It took me a half lunch break to read this, but worth of the time. Two thumbs up!
