TV show or radio

Because those are live conversations. Radio broadcast(not VOA) is especially good because it is actually slower than TV shows, and that allows you to catch as many words as you can. VOA is not the best choice for beginners in that it is too much of a trained tune. You want to be a little casual. But writing is a different story. Reading is a must. Not novels, literatures. Try to start with short ones.
