Waterhouse's works are perhaps the best of the Pre-Raphaelites (although really a Neoclassic). His combination of mythology, poetry and mystique femme fatale is absolutely outstanding and soulfully touching.

Chinese artist Yuqi Wang won an international fame in continuing that direction.
