when i was hearing the part '我还企图弄懂毕达哥拉斯所谓的用数字控制变化的力量', it prompted me to see exactly what the corresponding sentence was. since it was not there, i just checked online and saw it. i was surprised he was talking about Pythagorean. we all know the Pythagorean theorem, the gougu theorem in 九章。
i am glad that 密码 once attempted russell's 数学原理。i did not read it for math is not something i am good at. but as far as i know, 数学原理 was not meant for someone with a faint mind.
by the way, Godel showed that 数学原理 could not be both consistent and complete. now 密码 has more on his plate (besides 儿歌）。
