【Short Story】What Flowers Do You Buy For Your Wife

In ESL classroom before Valentine's Day, our teacher asked all male students a question one by one: “Do you buy your wife or your girl friend flowers?” Without surprise, majority of Chinese students' answers are negative.

When the teacher asked me the same question, I replied:” Yes, of course!” Then the teacher asked curiously “What flowers do you buy?” I said loudly and proudly: “Cauliflowers!” .
