今天我们要学的词是random。

Random, 是随机、任意的意思。

"The firefighters have to undergo a random drug test once a year,"
消防队员每年要接受一次是否服用毒品的抽查。

"The boxer refused to submit random blood tests before the match,"
这位拳击选手拒绝在比赛前接受随机的血样检查。

美国圣诞节发生恐怖炸机未遂事件后，机场全面加强安检措施。

"All U.S.-bound international passengers will be subject to enhanced random screening,"
所有飞往美国的国际乘客都要接受更为严格的安检抽查。
