couldn't you see that the tire had enough air?

one time i pumped too much air to a tire of my car in winter. when spring came, i had to pick up a friend at the airport. on the way there, the tire exploded on the highway. i pulled up to the shoulder. the car behind me almost run over me.
the other time, again i went to the airport to pick up a friend's boyfriend. on the way there, a tire flattened. i drove to a nearby shop and had it fixed. her boyfriend had to wait for more than 2 hours at the airport. there was no cellphone back then.
