News about the PLA artist Pen Bing

I just called a well known PLA artist Pen Bin, whose story I wrote in the past "painting in prison". In 2005, I visited him when he was bothered by that his self-built studio was demolished because it was at a school.

So amazed is to hear that his famous paintings: "Loushan Pass" and "The great military contest" are in his own possession--which I saw in the close observation with admiration, because at one time it were trashed. ( Another known painting was paid by Chinese Art Gallery for mere 600 yuan). A new studio was ready for him because those who surpressed him were dead, "one by one". "Are any one of them are artists?" "Yes, XXX, XXX, XXX". I was surprised to hear all these well known names, one of whom was ranked as a general.

I also asked about Ren Bishi's elder daughter and was told that she suffered broken hip bone and is confined in a wheelchair.

From now on I have an old yet re-connected artist master to inspire me.
