ER's 14 tips on mastering English communication skills

1. Learn IPA charts
2. Use voiced English dictionaries
3. Watch YouTube's accent reductions lessons;
4. Listen and recite and record speeches from VOA which have scripts available once per month
5. Watch TV advertisements and imitate marketing slogans
6. Read news in English everyday and watch news shows on TV
7. Join speech practice clubs/book reading groups and give speeches actively
8. Read a current year's popular book each quarter
9. write blogs in English
10. Check the word pronunciations on your word-related documents and pronounce them correctly
11. Practice pronouncing most popular English first names and your coworkers' names
12 Learn how to breathe from singers
13. Watch football and baseball games on TV (for boys) or cooking show (for girls),
14. Attend US social study classes at community colleges
