I loved his jokes. I think they are mostly appropriate and hilarious. :)
I agree that his ethnicity and accent, (and probably
his appearance too) must have added an extra flavor to his humor. I still think it's a big step for us Chinese to appear on the stage and show people that we are humorous too, and that Chinese scholars are not all bookworms who's serious all the time.
