美国通用汽车公司申请破产保护。

"General Motors was the crown jewel of U.S. industrialization,"
通用汽车公司曾经是美国工业化进程的一颗璀璨明珠。

与此同时，

"GM China is becoming the crown jewel in the company's operations,"
通用中国已经成为通用汽车公司的亮点。

为了减轻游客负担，美国一百多个国家公园今年夏天三个周末不收门票。

美国内政部长萨拉萨尔宣布这一消息时说：
