学一个词：vulnerable （英语听力）ZT



今天我们要学的词儿是vulnerable。

Vulnerable是脆弱的，容易受到伤害的意思。

Vulnerable to attack,
是说容易受到攻击；

vulnerable to criticism,
是容易受到批评。

一项最新调查显示，
Sudan is at the top of the list of countries most vulnerable to internal conflict,
意思是说苏丹是最容易发生内乱的国家。

每次夏天出现高温天气的时候，政府都会建议人们待在有空调的房间里，特别是老人和孩子。
"The elderly and the young are the most vulnerable to extreme heat,"
意思说说老年人和小孩子是最经不起酷暑天气的。
