The black and white footage is from the movie “Gilda", which stars Rita Hayworth who was big in the middle of the last century.

If you've seen the movie "The Shawn-Shank Redemption", you may recall the inmates watching the movie "Gilda" and they whistled when the character played by Rita Hayworth appeared.
