Based on the rule, dictionary's definition of ''the'' in the pronunciation it lists ''thee'' [THi:] before a vowel and ''thuh'' [TH..] before a consonant.

In another words,we pronounce "the" as [thee] before a word beginning with a vowel sound.

Thanks you for pointing out this, I'll pay more attention to it in my next reading.
