Something like 流行美语 - also exploring

Some materials like 流行美语 is very good material to follow on for American spoken English. One inconvenient part of it is that it combines with Chinese conversation.
If the producer has a version (i hope so) all in English that would be a fantastic material to learn. First, the pronunciation is quite standard, second the words/phrases/idioms in it are quite update, thirdly the content is quite catchy and interesting to learn. Then if you can use the variety of learning methods provided in this forum (it seems there're a lot of methods but only few would suit you), you can expect to have a noticable progress.
In addition you can choose from those sources the one which you're interested. I am also surfing on such good sources and would be happy to share if I've got one.
