学一个词：recall（英语听力）ZT




今天我们要学的词儿是recall。

Recall是指产品质量有问题，厂商或是质量监督部门宣布回收产品的意思。

美国先进医疗光学公司的一种隐形眼镜护理液最近出了问题，

"The contact lens solution is being recalled,"
这种护理液正在被收回。

日常生活中很多商品都可能存在质量问题。

"GE recalled the dishwashers due to a fire hazard,"
是说通用电器公司收回了这款洗碗机，因为有起火的危险。

"The company recalled thousands of jars of baby food after a contamination scare,"
意思是说食品污染引起恐慌后，这家公司收回了数千瓶婴儿食品。
