一九三四年夏

HUICHANG
-----To the Tune of Qing Ping Yue

Summer 1934

东方欲晓,
莫道君行早.
踏遍青山人未老.
风景这边独好.

Dawn is breaking,
Never you mind saying “You set out too early”
After crossing the green hills, we still remain young
The scenery here is exceptionally beautiful.

会昌城外高峰.
颠连直接东溟.
战士指看南粤.
更加郁郁葱葱.

Right outside of the city walls of Huichang towering peaks,
Peak upon peak stretch across to the eastern seas.
The soldiers point straight to Guangdong,
Heaving in a distant sight more luxuriant green than ever.


毛泽东诗词是中国文学史上,一颗璀璨的明珠,作为诗人,他的经历, 他的学识, 他的抱负,注定了他的诗词要被人们关注传播.前辈大师们的毛诗译著堪称经典之作,我辈实难超越.仅以我的拙作或许还有不少笔误,仅以此表达我对毛诗的敬意.
