is there a direct flight from US to Venezuela?

Depending on the departure airports.
I lived in San Francisco Bay Area, so my flight had one stop in Miami, my another trip stopped in Houston.

So I guess there are direct flights at least from Miami or Houston.

how much would a trip of two weeks cost, aproximately?

Depending on the hotel you stay, which can be the major cost. Since I am on a business assignment, I stayed in Mariotta and EuroBuilding in Caracus, which are similar to the corresponding price in U.S. ($200 per night)

Another key issue is the exchange rate.
If you can get a nice exchange rate, it should cut a lot of costs.

I have stayed here almost 3 weeks, yesterday I signed a holiday bill, which is around 10000 Bs, or $2000 if a black market rate is applied.

So, relatively, much cheaper than in Norway, France, or other European countries.

is it safe to travel around?
There were reporting of kidnap incidents in South American countries. The key is language.

what are the must see places?
1, Margritta Islands, which is gorgeous.

2, Angel fall which is claimed as the highest one in the world.

3, Maybe Amazon since 1/3 of this country is in Amazon.

4. My luxurious apartment, haha.
