Some senior nurses with years of experiences and master degrees can work as nurse practitioners!

Because of the doc shortage in Canada, more and more nurse practitioners are taking the jobs like family physicians.

It's gospel for foreign trained docs that there are some medical schools in Canada are offering special programs, like McGill university, to convert foreign trained docs to nurse practitioners in 3 years.

Salaries are pretty good for NPs, in researching unit, it's gonna be more than 100K/year; And in clinic, usually above 80-90K/year.
