time was very precious and one had to book testing equipment ahead to testing own code.
One Sat I went into the lab and found the cable connections I set on the equipment the night before were gone,
and the equipment was wired to somewhere else.
I was upset and started to pull the cables out and complained loudly: "Who messed up my system???"
Then suddenly I heard a guy from the testing group nearby started laughing: "Did you see the note on the door?", he asked me.
Of course, I didn't pay any attention to the note on the door, which said: "due to an urgent issue, all systems in the lab are changed for an integreation testing".
That was a big toe-curling moment for me. 
But Brian the tester became one of my firends after that, and he gave me a special Nortel phone with ISDN feature later.
