During the summer break,my family visited Italy.
Among all the landmarks we visited, the Leaning Tower of Pisa impressed me the most. I knew it was tilted, but when I entered the square, its leaning, as if it could collapse at any time, really stunned me.
I bet no constructors could build such a leaning tower on purpose.
Many people climbed the tower, but not me:)I heard that when people climbed the tower, everyone prayed “no collapse,no collapse”..When would the last straw come?:)
“Life, like the Leaning Tower, isn't about being perfectly straight—it's about staying standing, staying memorable, and knowing that even your 'flaws' can make you legendary.” The Leaning Tower is perfectly imperfect.
The following from Wiki:
The Leaning Tower of Pisa(Italian: torre pendente di Pisa [?torre pen?d?nte di?pi?za, - ?pi?sa][1]), or simply the Tower of Pisa (torre di Pisa), is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of Pisa Cathedral. It is known for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation. The tower is one of three structures in Pisa's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo), which includes the cathedral and Pisa Baptistry. Over time, the tower has become one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world as well as an architectural icon of Italy, receiving over 5 million visitors each year.
