Origin: This saying is rooted in an old Scottish proverb, where "confession" refers to the act of acknowledging wrongdoing, particularly in a religious context like confessing sins to a priest.

I have something to confess to my trusted APAD friends: I reported a "speed trap" on the first day of our road trip back to Canada.
When (the driver) driving on Hwy 80 not far outside SF yesterday, a line jumped out in Google map on my dear iPhone: "A trap reported 1 min ago, is it still active?" with "Yes" and "No" choices under it. I never saw a message like this before (mind you, I didn't have a cell phone nor text message until end of Sept), so felt it very interesting.
And then, all of a sudden, I saw a police car in a space between the two sides and the officer was holding a radar detector. "Oh, that must be it"! So I quickly pushed the "Yes" without thinking.

Happy Friday to U all!
