Despite the opposition from Tump, on Wednesday the bill to divest TikTok was passed at House with overwhelming majority. Its destiny is uncertain though, as Senate leader Chuck Schumer did not make any promise on the bill. Many senators, including Senate Democrat President of Judiciary Committee Dick Durbin, expressed the concern if the ban of TikTok abides by the constitution. Dubrin also indicated that “to keep a large number of young voters out is not the best strategy for the re-election.”
